image The players clinic was very well attended on the weekend. On Friday night, the 15U Players hit the field with some older and some younger players. A total of over 40 players attended the clinic. They were trained by the likes of Jim Lefebvre, the former manager of the Seattle Mariners, and Joe Newton, a prestigious pitching trainer. The players got direct hitting and pitching advice from these internationally recognized instructors. The players were taken through a whole list of arm care and strengthening exercises and drills.

On Saturday, at the high performance camp for players up to 18U players got training with Newton and Coach Murphy, dieting information from Nilo Ghajar-Williams, and conditioning training from Jeremy Trach. David Laing, from Baseball BC, talked to the players about high performance opportunities and Bill Green from Triple Play Athletics covered scholarship opportunities. The players walked away with a tremendous experience not likely to be forgotten soon.
