Coaches Convention well attended

The 2015 BC (Minor) Baseball Coaches Convention has been a huge success so far this year. Approximately 200 coaches and another 200 players have attended this weekend with another day still to go. This year features an all star line-up of presenters including the likes of Reggie Smith, Pete Caliendo, Pete Wilkinson, Ron Davini, Randy Town,Marty Lehn, Dave Empey, Rick Johnston and Greg Hamilton,Head Coach of the Canadian Jr National Team., former Toronto Blue Jay players Rance Mulliniks and Lloyd Moseby. As well, Matt Holtzman and Nilo Ghajar-Williams were part of the player development clinics and presentations.

Coaches have come from all over the Province, including the Interior, Northern BC, Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland to attend the convention. The organizers have received almost 100% positive feedback to the event. The convention winds up Sunday at 3 pm. As well as the general convention, Coaches who needed NCCP Provincial modules have been able to get those this weekend with instructor Charlie Law from Vernon. BC (Minor) Baseball continues to focus time and energy in coaching development in the Province of British Columbia with the goal of making the Baseball Experience for its almost 14,000+ players throughout the Province a very positive one.
